We're more than happy to invite you to the third edition of the Suunto Freedive Games competition series, where athletes and friends will compete with each other over two exciting days.

DARS
The competition will be covered by the DARS media team, providing unforgettable underwater footage for all athletes.
Classification & Awards
Athletes will be classified by gender and discipline into three categories:
👑 Elite Category
You're Elite if your personal best in at least one discipline is above the threshold:
- DYN: Men ≥ 220m, Women ≥ 188m
- DYNB: Men ≥ 200m, Women ≥ 170m
- DNF: Men ≥ 175m, Women ≥ 145m
- STA: Men ≥ 7:00, Women ≥ 5:35
📈 Rising Category
You're Rising if your personal best in all disciplines is below the threshold:
- DYN: Men < 220m, Women < 188m
- DYNB: Men < 200m, Women < 170m
- DNF: Men < 175m, Women < 145m
- STA: Men < 7:00, Women < 5:35
🆕 Newcomer Category
Athletes competing in an apnea competition for the first time, regardless of their personal best.
Awards: The primary awards are for the OVERALL ranking in each category (Elite, Rising, and Newcomers). Awards for the top 3 podium places are funded by our main sponsor Suunto.
Rules for the overall ranking:
Only the 2 best performances from classic freediving disciplines (STA/DYN/DYNB/DNF) across the two days count toward the overall ranking. This means athletes competing in 3 disciplines have more chances to achieve their best results, but athletes competing in just 2 disciplines also have an excellent chance of winning the main prize! Points calculations are as follows:
- DYNB: 0.5 pts per 1m
- DYN: 0.46 pts per 1m
- DNF: 0.6 pts per 1m
- STA: 0.2 pts per second

Note: Only the 2 best performances count toward the overall ranking. If an athlete dives twice in the same discipline, only the better result from that discipline will count. ❤️ cards = 0 points. Athletes competing in 3 disciplines get more chances, but those in 2 disciplines can still win!
Prizes will also be awarded to the winners of each individual discipline in all three categories.
Additional Awards
Molchanovs and Evolve Apnea will also fund awards for the competition.
